Repair Policy
Please read before leaving your device with us. By authorising a repair, you agree to the following terms.
A diagnostic fee may apply depending on the complexity of the fault. This fee is non-refundable if the customer chooses not to proceed with the repair after diagnosis. The fee will be communicated to you before any assessment begins and must be agreed upon before work starts.
Warranty periods vary by repair type and the parts used — this will be clearly stated on your job card at the time of repair. Warranty covers defects in the replaced part or workmanship only. It does not cover new physical damage, liquid damage, or faults unrelated to the original repair that occur after the device leaves our premises.
NS TECH is not liable for any physical damage, liquid damage, or corrosion discovered during the repair process that was pre-existing or caused by conditions outside our control. Devices that show signs of prior water exposure may develop additional faults during or after repair — we will inform you if this risk applies to your device.
NS TECH takes reasonable care during all repairs, however we accept no responsibility for loss of data that may occur during the repair process. Customers are strongly advised to back up all personal data — photos, contacts, applications and files — before submitting any device for repair. We will not be held liable for any data loss regardless of cause.
Customers must disclose all known faults with the device at the time of drop-off. NS TECH is not responsible for faults that were not disclosed at intake and are discovered only after the primary repair is completed. Additional faults found during repair will be communicated to the customer before any further work is carried out.
NS TECH accepts no liability for complications arising from previous repairs performed by another party. Devices that have been previously opened, modified, or repaired elsewhere may contain non-standard components or damage that could affect our repair outcome. We will advise you if prior work is detected and how it may impact the repair.
Customers will be notified when their device is ready for collection via WhatsApp or phone call. Devices that remain uncollected for 30 days after notification will be considered abandoned. NS TECH reserves the right to dispose of or utilise abandoned devices to recover outstanding repair costs. We are not responsible for uncollected devices after this period.
NS TECH's total liability in any dispute shall not exceed the cost of the repair service charged. We are not liable for any indirect, consequential, or economic losses arising from device downtime or repair. By leaving your device with us, you confirm you have read, understood, and agreed to these terms. These terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia.
These terms are provided for transparency and customer protection. NS TECH reserves the right to update these terms at any time. For any questions regarding our repair policy, please contact us on WhatsApp before dropping off your device. This policy applies to all repairs carried out at NS TECH, Bentong / Karak, Pahang (Reg. No. PG0571261-V).
